already planning to catch it a second time in theaters.
absolutely amazing film that stays with you after you’ve seen it, and beautifully, ENGAGINGLY treads and expands upon the philosophical grounds of the first movie. also, if you loved the visuals and audio of the first one, be prepared for the hammer this time around as well. the scene compositions, music, and general futuristic neo-noir flare are at emergency levels at almost all times. this movie drowns fans in their desires.
i’m shocked that it’s doing poorly at the moment at the box office; but hey, masterpieces usually have an upramp time before being heralded. this one is already a classic. any material that reflects this deeply on the human condition always will be.
