Interesting. I was born a few years before you and don't remember ever seeing the movies on TV. As I already mentioned Roger Moore was my first introduction to James Bond. As for Daniel Craig, his Bond portrayal is definitely different from Moore's, Connery's , and Brosnan's (I'll have to rewatch the Dalton films as I don't remember his Bond very well, nor Lazenby's for that matter). Perhaps Craig is closer to Fleming's Bond? I don't know myself as I've never read the books, but some think so anyway.
