I am guessing you meant this file: hash/ibm5150.xml

and not the hash list for IBM AT hardware: hash/ibm5170.xml

I am not sure which person would have the exact needed IBM hardware to handle IBM 5.25" diskettes for reading the diskettes. If you reside in the US, there should be someone (maybe a MAMEdev member) that has old equipment to do that type of work.

Depending if the specific game uses copy protection such as the Az-tech diskette protection, some additions might have to settle for the scenario of being supported, but not yet working because IBM floppy diskette drive emulation not yet able to handle specific diskette copy protection schemes.

btw:

It is the same for me because I also have a few IBM 5.25" diskettes needing to be read as well and added to the hash/ibm5150.xml file.

The diskettes I have that should be added.....assuming diskettes are still readable.
Burgertime and J-Bird are boot-up copies that I got from someone else back in mid 1980s.

The bootup Burgertime diskette had to be kept in diskette drive while playing the game because the floppy drive was continually trying to read the diskette during gameplay. I am not sure if the actual original diskette did the same thing.

Other original IBM games that I have that are not yet on the 5150 hash file, XOR's NFL Challenge and Wilderness.

I also have a copy protected bootleg of Snipes which was a great IBM game for its time because it was a hard game to win.

Snipes has files when doing the DIR command, but iirc it acted like a bootup diskette because it required having diskette in the floppy drive and rebooting the computer.
