Sadly, "improved" does not mean perfected. The game is still known to have video issues and that is the reason why the MACHINE_IMPERFECT_GRAPHICS flag is still attached to the game and you get the warning of such each time you start the emulation. If the game was not flagged, that might be a valid bug to report.
