Atari 400/800/5200 emulation has become fragile and broken over time due to cpu core rewrites and the driver not being kept maintained. I'm very close to adding the imperfect graphics tag to the driver, but that will likely result only in more complaints about how people need to hit a key to start the emulation (warning screen). What the family of machines needs is a good developer willing to rewrite the driver to account for the progresses made with the core.
