It's not really any different to the set we have, except it's an original seibu set rather than the china? license, so yeah 2 player only.
There is a New Zero Team on the TYPE C hardware that ZT2000 uses (somebody posted pics here a few years ago, thinking they were going to get a Zero Team 2000, but ended up with New Zero Team) Unfortunately they weren't interested in getting it dumped.
The version on Type C might have 4 players (as well as EEPROM instead of dipswtiches) but the Type B PCB doesn't even have the connectors for P3/P4.
In all seriousness tho, just play ZT2000, the stage order in NZT doesn't flow at all and was clearly only changed to try and squeeze more money out of people.
