* He opens by suggesting that he was the only person willing to work on the driver. This is false: it's almost as though he kept it away from everyone else.
* He claims to have "surrendered" his direct commit access. This is false: he never removed himself from the MAMEdev organisation on Github or from the MAME repository. He was removed due to the fact that a person with direct push access who isn't on the mailing list is a problem waiting to happen.
* He claims he can't submit it himself. This is false and absurd: he knows we have a code submission address and accept pull requests.
* He pulls his usual, "I'm sure one of the devs will..." line. He still thinks he's too important to have to write decent code.
I'm half-inclined to say the MAME team shouldn't accept the driver on general principle because his attitude is shocking. If the rest of us actually had ROMs and whatever other info Andy gleaned we could probably do a better job anyway without resorting to things like random read handlers.
