I think that happened, at least properly, with the Unity update that gave Windows a working 64bit version. But then I wasn't watching for a Mac version at all.
It's still not a multiplayer game though.
Time to launch the third commsat and get everyone talking. I decided late to go with stationary orbits, which means I may need to go back and add more batteries to CommSat I....
EDIT: Steam sales are a regular occurrence if you don't actually own it yet, and I think GOG will have it on sale at about the same time in a non-steam install. Summer Sale coming... soon?
There are couple of differences between Steam and non-Steam versions: 1. Update method. Steam updates automatically, and you can't prevent it (though you can avoid it), while the Squad store version updates through their website. Neither version has any (real) DRM, and you can copy it to a new folder without issue, which gets around the auto-update. 2. The Steam version includes an official mod that manages the functions of a Steam Controller. I have one, but I don't use it.
