If you know of, or could post an example of this - that might help me to understand. But I don't think this is the case....
It's actually a full tang sword.
I may have to work something out to where, when that button is slid, that it brings in 2 tabs that would go into narrow slits on a sheath (behind those 2 high-heeled shaped parts). This would unlock, and make it so the sword can be removed.
That's the only thing I can think of that would make sense.
I know they don't go into that much detail, but fwiw, there's this....
