I'm really impressed with the work they've done with Future Pinball (and pinball sims in general), and I was wondering if anyone thought of applying the same type of programming and physics to other sims? Of note:
1. Slot racing. It would be really cool to have an emulator where you could design your own slot racing tracks (like the old Tyco race sets) and pick from a set of rooms to run them in. Critical would be a first-person view from inside the car and the option of setting up "night" tracks with lights and glow-in-the-dark features. This would be much better than real-life tracks because in theory you could build much larger and more complex tracks.
2. Air hockey. My wife loves it, and I can't find anything comparable online. It would seem easy enough to play with trackballs or mice.
