I need to mount my HDD with execute permission. (BTW, back in Win10 now) I got as far as 'sudo mount /dev/sdb2 -o exec,w' ...but /dev/sdb2 isn't in etc/fstab or etc/mtab ...until I mount it by clicking on it and mounting rather than using the terminal ...at which point I can't mount it because it's mounted already ...without the permissions it needs to have.
