I wasn't aware about them returning just last. For starters, it is being founded by a different group, but a group that remembers the Naugles name and is experimenting with recipes that almost match the taste of Naugles food.
Only one test location in Fountain Valley (sort of within driving distance) and that is only open on weekends as I understand. If anyone in soCal area went to Naugles during 1970s and 1980s, go to Fountain Valley and try the place during weekend. I wish them success because I really liked their food.
btw: the descendants of Dick Naugle do have a food eatery in Visalia, CA called Buns and Torts which does use same exact ingredients and food preparation exactly as if it were a Naugles outlet.
