The procedure being mentioned reminds me about same thing that was done with Gaelco Squash years earlier in which the extracted data file was used until things were figured out and the data file was no longer needed. Same thing with CPS-2 also.
Data file now documented in source, but hope it will be worked out in which extracted data file will no longer be needed.
