I saw videos on Youtube of people playing Terminator 2 with the light guns and they appeared to be pleased with the results so I figured I would give it a try. Like I said before, I can play the games fine with my mouse. I just wanted to know how to go about using the light gun with these games so I can determine for myself my preferred controller method.
Here is a video of someone playing Revolution X. Looks like it works well to me.
