2.0 does have the original on it, however it's a considerably lower quality transfer, DVD-ish.
So later, eventually, they released the original version as the 25th anniversary edition properly converted to BD quality.
Watching them back to back the color timings are different, the 2.0 version w/ the CGI inserts appear 'warmer'. But they both have their charms; the CGI upon multiple viewings is not as jarring, but it is different.
