She's clearly inspired by Lum from the Rumiko Takahashi manga Urusei Yatsura, who also has blue eyes.

Haha you're calling Time Traveler "cheesy" and "not adult" while praising Dragon's Lair? Hate to have to break this to you, but everything Don Bluth every animated was incredibly cheesy and childish, and DL is no exception. Maybe you need to lay off the weed a bit and reexamine some of this stuff.
