I'm not sure what you mean by "I do not want to stir up the proverbial [hornet's nest], so in case just ignore my question". Basically, you only want people to reply if they're going to tell you what a great idea it is, and how stupid MAME devs are for not having implemented this groundbreaking idea yet?
