I'm probably the only exception to this. I spend relatively little time actually playing the games. I mainly run them in attract mode and try to get as close as possible to what it would have actually have been like to have the real machine in my living room back in the day. So in that sense, artwork is just as important as the game. I've made lots of artwork (bezels, CPOs, and even kickplates) to fill out screen space because black space basically sucks; I just don't post a lot of it because it's pieced together from graphics I found online and couldn't determine where they came from to give proper credit.
Am I a freak for being content to watch the blinking lights?

I have officially retired from sucking at everything I do. Life is much easier now.
