All I see is the path for the crosshair directory. And yes, I have probably 20 different crosshairs in my crosshair directory and I can pick them from inside any game in mame via "Tab" "Crosshair options" What im trying to say is even if you were to delete all the crosshair .png out of the crosshair directory you could still start mame and you would have the default blue and red crosshairs in the game.
