I figured he needed to get out and see some wholesome motion pictures.

He's deaf, and the theater ran out of closed caption glasses, so he just enjoyed the visuals of it. That kind of worked out... he wouldn't have appreciated all the f-bombs and off-color humor... so as it was... he loved it. He especially complimented the choreography. Said it was wonderful. He made a big rave about how good the movie was to his resident-mates when he got back to the nursing home. The one thing that really impressed him was how good the puppet was manipulated, like it was really alive!

I have to admit I liked it too. I expected a piece of trash, but I had nothing better to do... and I actually enjoyed it. Plus... once again, I (and my Dad) were the only ones who stuck around to the end of the credits, so we are one of the few who knows how things turned out for Liam Neeson.
