Gender/sexual identity is biological. Either in your genetics or the environment (e.g., chemicals, etc.) you're exposed to, or a combination therein.
"Race", in this context, is just another word for culture. What is being "black" or being "white"? It' just attributes of a culture associated with a majority group of similarly skinned/featured people in a certain geographic region. It's not an innate trait.
It's why black children adopted at an early age by white parents generally speak "white" if raised in a socioeconomic area that is majority white families (i.e., they interact with mostly white children). It's also why white kids in the 'hood talk "black".
That's not to say that people don't judge others on race, but just because of your race doesn't mean that you inherently share the experience of that race. Race can shade your experience by how people treat you, but it's not innately who you are.
