Yes. The idea is that if anytime we want to have the passwords available to everyone in the company, it will be through our own managed cloud, not through someone else's cloud.

However, Moose is right, that we might be flexible in one or more of the requirements, since after 2 weeks searching, we couldn't find any password manager which matches them all. Certainly LastPass looks good and we'll have a look at it, but we'll keep looking for the combination opensource+multiuser+local.

I just tried Encryptr (open source, but cloud based and not multiuser) and it's pretty neat. The Zero Knowledge approach is very attractive to me and I might use it for personal, non important stuff that I want to have available quickly and anywhere. I have yet to try other stuff but so far the options look so limited compared to other areas...

*edit* While looking at LastPass and other similar solutions, I found a rather outdated list which mentions TeamPass. It is still actively developed and really seems what we're looking for. This monday I'll ask my mate to try it (I don't want to install a WAMP right now in my computer) and see what it can do.
