In researching the monitor, I found some information about it supporting a Nvidia G-Sync "upgrade". This is a physical board that you have to install into the monitor. Here's a video. It's pretty involved: http://www.geforce.com/hardware/technology/g-sync/diy The problem is that these upgrade boards aren't available anymore from Nvidia and they sell for $300-$500 on Ebay when they do happen to show up. They're quite rare.
