It's not so simple. There's a lot of factors they didn't take into account... in part because they didn't have enough information to. Thus the guestimates.

Various panes of glass of various thickness and of various density and of various composition all have different shatter thresholds, all of which vary by temperature. How many of the contestants checked the weather?

The various objects being dropped likewise have varying degrees of dissipation on impact, as well as variable distention and variable surface area contact (especially the pig), absorbing and distributing a portion of the energy. If they were using bowling balls, the calculations would have been more straight forward, and all of the contestants would have likely have had the same answers.

That's a show I could get into, despite Bogger.
