iirc that may have been the game that I had also commented years earlier when there was an old thread here in emuchat forum about an article, in Wired magazine, about a Russian museum arcade that had a fair number of video and mechanical games for Russian public to view or try out.

If the non-cpu Russian game could be emulated, roms would have to be dumped in case pcb does make use of any game data stored in roms. And also determine what ttl chips on the pcb are used. If logic schematics are available for the Russian game, that would speed up things of getting game emulated instead of having to guess what the various circuit functions do that are on the pcb.

There was a Russian bootleg version of Atari's Steeplechase. DICE now does emulate Steeplechase. And a fair number of the videogames from the Russian museum that use a cpu are now emulated/preserved in MAME except any of the non-cpu games.
