Well, not so much 'Political' (otherwise, I would've said 'Democratic' mind) as it is Social. In this case, the Feminist (or, as long as we're going in the general direction of ridicule) the "Feminazi" mind. Where the claim is made that compliments should be taken as derogatory remarks, when in reality (or, at least in the mind of said males) it is actually praise. This is what I was referring to as backwards thinking.
So, stripped of any political or social labels, there's still the quality of backward thinking present.
But, if I'm wrong, then I'm fine with that. 
eta: I probably was categorizing feminism as a branch on the Liberal limb on the tree of Politics/Social Activism, or whatever. If that's not a fair example, then I can't think of what else would be.
