This was a bad sign when I was a kid, cos usually I pee'd for real. But recently I had one of these and thought for sure I pee'd all over, and woke and found I didn't. I still had to seriously pee. (Some of those times I think were wet dreams, although I didn't remember anything sexual dream-wise....but they didn't smell like pee.) Basically, don't drink too much right before bed. (When I was a kid, often it was milk. Now it's water.)
Cable came to my neighborhood fall of '83, I was twelve, and I pretty immediately started staying (trying to stay) up all Friday night watching movies and stuff. I did this through the spring of '85 or so. One night there was nothing on and I didn't want to crash. I sat there, started drifting but not off or away, and I started hearing whispers. And I snapped my eyes open and smiled - cos I knew the voices were me.
Since then, and especially since experiencing certain substances, I've had many manners of dreams and all. Never've slept-walked or anything. And I've never been afraid of anything in them. I've always treated dream as recreationally educational/educationally recreational. But, while I'm fascinated with the potentialities, it seems like a lot of work reading and trying this and that and.....well, what I experience is so easy, trying for more seems like a chore and perhaps anti-thetical.
Scifi frauds. SF illuminates.
