That is why morality is a crude tool for reckoning the world. Vas Crabb's sentiment is relevant. It represents a sensibility. And therein lies the key.

I wouldn't have them kids in ma howse. But that's one reason I won't have kids*: I can't yet dictate the quality of their (social) environment. While I learned a lot of street smarts, I certainly was squelched by a lack of cosmic curiosity in my neighborhood.
*Not the main reason, of course, which is that I'm not called to have any.
