I checked out your video tutorial and vcab template. Very nice BTW. 
I noticed that you seem to advocate making a box that touches the outer edges of the screen cutout and using that for the screen position (hopefully that makes sense). But, the screen cutout in your template isn't a 4:3 (for horizontal games), so the screen would be wrong aspect ratio. Is that just personal preference? If not, then you might want to adjust your black bezel image to create a screen cutout that has a proper 4:3 aspect ratio.
