At least since '08. There was some contention that Hyperspin, when it emerged, ripped some things off of GameEx.
The 3D features are obvious in the vid. Interesting, and in a way I'm surprised it's taken this long. Headsoft, that's Headkaze. So he and Tom Spiers have teamed up. This suggests it might be going at least semi-commercial. Maybe not.
All that stuff is cool and all, but I've found I prefer the old-school 'here's a list and all major images of the game on sight' kind of thing, and hence have no reason to change from my current Mala configuration. But the font and other capabilities would, for those inclined, make an old-school set-up that much nicer.
Oh, also, I wasn't happy with how difficult it was for GameEx to handle Daphne and Visual Pinball. Definite no given those.
