Yes, but everyone except Australia exported those places to Brazil. Australia didn't do so because it was unfeasible to export the whole country.
I know because I've read this book about Australia called "The Last Continent", written by reputed anthropologist Terry Pratchett. Apparently everything in Australia is deadly, poisonous or both. If you lift a rock, you will uncover a bunch of deadly poisonous beetles, and if not, the rock is poisonous. 70% of australian butterfly species are poisonous as well. The remaining 30% either put eggs in your brain (which will kill you when hatching) or are carnivorous (the flying piranhas they call them). I've even heard that there they have cats that can climb up hills.
