On mine, I was able to achieve around 70 kilobits per second writing speed so...about 20 mins per 10 gigs of data transferred on USB 2.0 which is very reasonable I think.
Although I think what matters at least just as much is reliability as well when it comes to flash drives. I'm sure some brands are better than others when it comes to this but I am not sure off-hand which realistically are aside from the marketing jazz. Guess I'll just have to use it for a while to see :-)
But so far so good on my Verbatim...I verified my image plus other misc files and it's all peachy...no probs whatsoever.
