Well, does a PC often disconnect? I leave Firefox open continuously, it only closes when something updates that forces it or the PC to restart, so that's once or twice a week. It says "look at," so maybe any time I change pages or look away from the screen I should count a new instance. With FF open I am in fact continuously "using" the internet, since it's monitoring my email. My phone, with unlimited data, is always monitoring news, weather, and twitter, whether I'm touching it or not.
If I watch 3 YouTube videos, that might be an hour or two, and then I come here to say something like "Wil Wheaton just recommended Carcassonne for mobile devices." That's all one use? Does stopping to grab dinner interrupt that use if I eat said dinner while watching the remainder of a video?
I'm currently using the internet twice, I guess, since "Mysterious underwater sound identified... and it's not a bio-duck." "Bio-duck?" WTF?
