I could eat whatever I wanted without exercise or weight gain until I was like 26 or 27. Then I had to make a choice between getting fatter or not. I usually chose fatter with periods of choosing less fat sprinkled in.

I'm 38() too now, and pretty active. So is this guy. I don't feel running is that effective for weight loss unless you're doing high mileage. You would problemy be better off finding some sort of HIIT workout that agrees with your knees.
