The PS3 doesn't support "N" at all. Only "B" or "G".
What's even worse is the PSP which doesn't support WPA2 security either. Luckily, my old ASUS RT-N16 has a setting for "WPA-Auto", I think it's called, which allows the router to fall back to plain WPA for clients that don't support WPA2, but run WPA2 for those that do.
I'm looking at picking up the ASUS RT-AC68U eventually. http://amzn.com/B00FB45SI4
I'd probably also pick up something like this to connect my PS3 and TiVo...
Linksys Wireless-AC Universal Media Connector (WUMC710) http://amzn.com/B0090DX8O8
...mainly because I'm tired of Netflix cutting out on my PS3 whenever someone runs the microwave in the next room. Microwaves interfere with 2.4GHz wireless.
