One more thought - with Blu Ray showing itself off with mere 35mm films, there are the many 70mm films still out there that are actually beyond its clarity limits. I guess that's what 4K is for, huh?
Terminator 2 (1990) was offered in 70mm at select theatres. It was incredible to see. Funny how digital is kind of just catching up to analog/optical, in a way.
