BTW: your dates are quite possibly wrong. - Space Invaders was released in July 1978 by Taito. - Space Invaders Part II was released in September 1979 by Taito. - Space Invaders Deluxe was released in November 1979 by Midway, under license from Taito.
This is according to Arcade-History.com, which may be wrong but has been researched from many sources.
MAME's internal release years are only based on copyright screens or code or PCB screen printing, no other research (usually).
OTOH mame.lst often enough includes release months, but these only tend to remain in the source, not exported via XML.
FYI: Space Invaders Deluxe still says Space Invaders Part II, because supposedly Midway was only allowed to make minor modifications of the Taito code.
