all numbers are correct...since every tool got its own interpretation on how the count is calculated...if a rom is listed as nodump it might be ignored by cmpro but of course it's listed within the MAME XML output...
but actually...nobody should care about the rom count
...similar for sets....cmpro for example adds sets for sample-only sets which are referenced within MAME's XML output, while MAME itself doesn't list it as a set but only as a reference..
So...stop counting
do a xslt xpath count on the MAME xml game or rom elements if you want...
