Artwork and HLSL

Hi there!
I've noticed that the screen in some games, especially older, turns white when running HLSL enabled, and with artwork.
I use Mame 0.149.
I have been trying various HLSL settings, but non of them seem works properly.
Is there a way to solve this issue, with HLSL eabled?
