many street fighter fans prefer balltops such as sanwa JLF or seimitsu LS32 joysticks which you see on the jap candy cabs, egret cabs etc.. i think buttons are a personal choice, some players prefer concave, some dont. speaking personally, i wouldnt bother with concave just because the original streetfighterII cabs had them, id go with what i actually personally prefer.
same with button layout.
