It is, but they've done a good job introducing new gameplay mechanics to keep the newer levels reasonably fresh. In particular, the recently-added portals work so well as a puzzle element in that game I'm not sure why they didn't always have it. And the fact that they're still adding on free DLC for a 2009 game is terrific.
