Yes, everything is up on the FTP site. In the need to be cleaned folder.
Skyraider has a near perfect background along with a second print that is equally faded with the foreground artwork and pilot. I figure maybe color matching can be done to restore the front art and if not then the faded background can be used instead for a match.
I did some simple layering and transparency so you can see the pilots left arm. Some tricky stuff will be needed to bring it all together.
The video screen shines through a red gel sheet, not brown as I originally thought. Makes sense now that I see how the art suggests viewing through bomb bay doors.
Destroyer also has a rear art panel in excellent condition. Both machines had the previous sun drenched art stored in the base.
Both of these titles gain so much from the art. Perhaps they can be done in steps rather than trying to perfect them in one go. Probably will want options to turn on or off the various layers.
When I return, I'll be making sound samples of Destroyer. Maybe the hardware is similar enough to skyraider that the discrete logistics dev. Could have a look at it.
Tomorrow I'm off to Cax2013 Woohoo! My buddy owns the dedicated Williams Splat that will be at the show. I'll have to see what I can do about snagging that ultra rare bezel. The 3 sisters will not be attending unfortunately. Way to buried in the warehouse. Maybe next year. 35 year old machines can be problematic too.
