MAMEWorld Forums - MAME Artwork: Official - Marquee on second monitor

Hi everyone, what a fantastic forum.

As an absolute beginner I need some help please. I have a 2 monitor set up and want to have the game on one screen and ONLY the marquee on the second. I have messed about with the mame.ini file and changed monitors to 2 and have messed with per window and by putting standard for 1 and marquee for the other, I have been able to make a change. Not the change I wanted though. It displays the bezel around the game, which I must say looks smart but not what I wanted. Want to nowshowgame and bezel on lower monitor but marquee only on upper monitor. I have seen mr do's instructions on another thread buy they're double Dutch to me!!! He talks about giving the view in the lay file a different name? What does this mean? Also, will I have to change the lay file for all my games and should I leave them zipped up?

I probably sound really thick but I would really appreciate so e step by step support in an idiots guide format.
