Did you ever have trouble with grass getting clogged? Try this.
Materials needed:
A small bit of wire, maybe from a coat hanger since it's pretty strong.
Some thick string, maybe nylon chord or something.
Tools:
A drill and drill bit, about 1/4" (to drill a hole near the end of the discharge flap.... thingy).
Needlenose-Pliers (to bend and cut the wire).
Put a small loop of wire through the hole you drilled in the discharge flap. Tie one end of the rope/string to this small loop.
Place another piece of wire around the upper part of the mower (see the attached pic). You'll want it to be secure, but have a loop where you can run the string/rope through.
Finally, tie the other end of string up by where you push the mower (preferably on the side).
If you happen to notice no clippings are ejecting - pull the string to raise the flap. You may need to move the mower around a bit, but the clog almost always discharges.
