It seems to have been the admin rights. I ran the cmd prompt as admin and extracted just fine. Didn't work in the cab but, now I need to go back & verify a couple of other dumps and get this one working.
BTW RB: The error said it could not write to (PHYSICALDRIVEX).
That's what really irratated me. I knew that Windows could see it and I could format & use it just fine. Should have tipped me off I guess.
