When trying to launch Metal Slug (yes, I have neogeo), I get the missing rom or chd error. Now, normally I would just scan it with clrmamepro, see what's missing, and be on my way.
Well, clrmamepro says there are no issues with the file. To top that off, if I call it from the command line (mame.exe .\roms\mslug.exe) the game launches without an error. Even using IV-Play it works fine. It is only when launched through the file browser within MAME that I see this issue. I'm using MAME 0.148 from the website.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to what could be causing this?
