I hope that's a joke.
The rom allocations are in a string table similar to how mame does it in M2. It would probably be possible to hack it in via a hex editor, at the expense of one of the Daytona clones of course.
(Also it's not dead, merely on life support, I've been slowly but surely fixing issues via memory injection.)
