Makes sense - any modern phone/tablet that isn't one of those $50 Chinese specials has far more CPU power than e.g. the 39-in-1 MAME bootlegs or a GP2X. The Nvidia Tegra 3 used in the Nexus 7 (and the Ouya, if that ends up not being a scam) runs current real MAMEdev MAME fine for most 8 and 16 bit 2D games, and we're probably 3 months out from Tegra 4. Space Harrier even goes 60/60, but the X and Y board stuff not so much
