It sucks what happened to jop and I've heard other nightmare stories with paypal but in the 11 years I've been with ebay and paypal there has only been one fuckup like that and I got reimbursed the money a couple of weeks later. It was a huge inconvenience though, but it was because of a shitbag, and there are going to be shitbags trying to fuck the system everywhere. Buying in person from random people on the web is sketchy as fuck. I'd never sell certain items that way like precious metals or jewelry. There are certain things it's better for like furniture but overall, if something is defective and it's something you didn't catch while you were buying it, good luck, and good luck not getting jacked in the ghetto.
