That's what I like about Craigslist, there's less room for BS. No Paypal, no shipping, no credit cards. It's just "here's the cash", "here's the item" and you're done. For things under a few hundred dollars and/or are too expensive or awkward to ship, it's the way to go. I guess it depends what you're buying, too. For baby stuff, the sellers are pretty much always parents with small children, so the seediness tends to be minimal, especially when the seller is in one of the more affluent suburbs.
